Building on the success of last year's run, Krewe du Who is doing a second series of trading cards! For $55 you'll receive approximately 500 cards of you in your DOCTOR WHO cosplay best as well as several complete card sets.
The price covers printing, photography, and graphic design by 5 Stones Media. All you have to do is show up at either of the photo shoots in costume and with your $55 payment. Or, contact me about submitting your own picture.
Acceptable forms of payment are a personal check or money order written to Timothy San Fillippo that will be submitted the day of your chosen photo shoot. Advance online payment of $58 through PayPal will also be accepted - message me for the addy as we get closer to the photo shoot dates. DO NOT BRING CASH FOR PAYMENT!! With participants paying $55 per set I feel that I have to be cautious.
It will take about two months to design the cards and have them printed. We hope to have the cards in hand by mid November and will distribute the cards at a TBA Krewe weekend event as we did last year. This is a best estimate - not a delivery promise.
Expect questions for the card backs to be posted online in Aug.

IF YOU'RE SUBMITTING YOUR OWN PICTURES...
All images must be taken in the portrait position and submitted as RAW image files. Backgrounds must be free of people as well as logos. The overall compositions are up to the photographers and his or her subject(s), but the best cards tend to be those with dynamic images and/or capture cosplayers reenacting known publicity shots.
Lastly, the images should be taken fairly wide with the expectation that they will be cropped to fit the gold frame. Also, I'm expecting to receive 3-5 pictures to play with.
MINOR PARTICIPANTS...
KdW is an all ages fan group, and we want all to feel that they can participate. Teenagers can participate without adult supervision, assuming that they will act as a responsible young adults. A child in middle school or younger will require adult supervision.
As far as the sets go, We will permit what we would consider inappropriate costumes or poses, but we also trust parents to sensor their own child's complete sets if need be.
In contrast, we respect that a parent may want to control the distribution of their child's card, but please recognize that his or her card will be distributed in the complete sets at all participants will be receiving.
